 Porec by Night Porec is located on the west-coast of Istria, a half island on the west side of Croatia, with Venice on the other side. Porec has a so-called mediterian climate. A beautiful city, tourist attraction, with several tourist places aside the Mediterian Sea. It’s a city with a lot of natural beauties like gorgeous parks, plants and flowers. Pine and oak trees grow along the coast dominated by half-islands and bays. On one side there is inland, and on the other you find the ocean with small islands. Along the prettiest islands, you find St. Nikola. |

 Istra Istria is a half island which lies in the heart of Europe by the Adriatic ocean. The acreage is 2820 km2 along with 206.000 citizens. The coastline is 445 km. The half island is known for famous for the vegetation. 35 % of the half island is covered with forests. The wind from the Alps makes the climate agreeable to live here. The water temperature varies from 10 degrees in winter and 28 degrees in the summer. |

How to get to Istria? |
|
 Autoput Croatia has in the recent time built many km. with highways which binds together the entire country. There used to be a lot of queues, but now the security is improved. New roads are built through Istria - from Pula to Slovenia and from tunnel Ucka to Rijeka. You can get to Istria by using either a plane or train. There are airports in Pula and Trieste, 65 km from Porec. |

 Brijuni The beautiful Brijuni islands consist of 14 minor islands along with 7, 3 km2. They were known as a National park in 1983. The biggest one is called “the Big Brijuni”; the next one is called “the smaller Brijuni” with acreage of 1 km2. The distance to land from the Fazana canal above has a average depth of 12m. |
