 Autoput Croatia has in the recent time built many km. with highways which binds together the entire country. There used to be a lot of queues, but now the security is improved. New roads are built through Istria - from Pula to Slovenia and from tunnel Ucka to Rijeka. You can get to Istria by using either a plane or train. There are airports in Pula and Trieste, 65 km from Porec.
Travel with bus
Daily bus lines combine Croatia along with Austria, Italy, Hungary, France, Germany, Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is it cheapest way to get over to Croatia from Europe.
Bus bearings are also awfully cheap as they are smart to drive. They are one of the least crowded places in Croatia.

Travel with a car
Roads in Croatia are only getting better and better. Last summer there was waiting on the high because of all the tourism. To drive in Croatia you need a green card and a valid driver license. Road tolls vary for motorways and bridges.
Fuel is cheaper in Croatia than in other countries in Europe. A few gasoline stations are open 24-7, but most gas stations work from kl.06-20. Lead free gasoline is available on all stations and is colored with a green color. In July and August news appear on more languages due to the tourism.
On high ways you are allowed to drive 130 km/h only if nothing else is specified. On smaller highways you are allowed to drive 100km/h. Where there is dense living you are allowed to drive 50 km/h. In places with few people, you are allowed to drive 80 km/h. Penalties depend on what kind of crime you have committed. You are not allowed to drink alcohol at all before driving. Travel with airplane
Almost all European airports fly to the capitol of Croatia – Zagreb; where you can continue your trip toward the coast. Croatia airlines and a few other big airlines are flying daily to Zagreb. Charter planes are mainly popular in the summer season to Pula, Rijeka, Split, Brac, Zadar and Dubrovnik.
To other foreign countries there are planes to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bruxelles, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milano, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Prague, Tel Aviv, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje, Wien, and Zurich, and also Manchester during the season.
